Mission Statement: To improve literacy, higher-order thinking skills and learning proficiency through innovative and accelerative cognitive learning methods and programs for all people including minorities, the aging, those with special needs, and the disadvantaged, in learning environments such as schools, facilities, and the workplace.

Jan Kuyper Erland: M.S. Special Education, Learning Disabilities, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS; B.S. Education, Science, English, Theater, and Speech emphases, Drake University; Learning Disabilities Specialist, Intervention Learning Consultant for Mem-ExSpan, Inc.; researcher and program content developer for The Bridge To Achievement, (The BTA) cognitive skills Arts and Education training for ages 9 to 99; Website Content Project Manager for Innovative Learning Stratagems, Inc. National conference speaker on educational issues on learning and performance. Former elementary classroom teacher; and elementary and junior high learning disabilities resource room specialist. Served as local Lawrence, KS, ILS business partner with the Lawrence Public School USD 497 District’s elementary schools in a volunteer advisory role. Member of: American Psychological Association (APA) and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD); member and served on the Editorial Review Board for the International Alliance For Learning and Teaching, (IAL); National Mind-Brain Forum Editor, and served on the Kansas City Board of Directors for the American Society For Training and Development, (ASTD) formed their first Position Referral Service Committee, and later formed, an additional subcommittee, The Career Enhancement Group; member of: Association For Children With Learning Disabilities, (ACLD); Literacy Chairperson, Betty Washington Chapter, for The Daughters of the American Revolution; invited as a founding member of Total Quality Alliance, National Learning Foundation, Washington DC.

Christina Erland Culver: President. M.S., National Security and Strategic Studies US Naval War College; B.S., Political Science, The University of Kansas. Founding Partner, C/H, Christina Culver Group Global Strategies, District of Columbia - DC Politician, former Vice President of Dutko Worldwide, Washington, DC., a prominent public affairs intergovernmental relations firm, which provides comprehensive government affairs management and strategic counsel and helps build public-private partnerships with federal, state and international levels of government.
Formerly Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary for the US Office of Education, Washington, DC: Formerly Finance Director of the Children’s Educational Opportunity Foundation of America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to helping low-income children gain access to a quality education through privately funded scholarship programs. Served as National Director of the Republican Presidential Roundtable, a national public policy membership organization, in support of Republican U.S. Senate candidates. Prior to this, she was a Special Assistant in Corporate and Community Relations under Secretary Lamar Alexander at the U.S. Department of Education and served in the Bush White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel for Defense and State Department Presidential Appointments. She went to Washington in 1987, as a Kansas student, where she assisted former U.S. Senator Robert Dole on his bid for President. Past Mem-ExSpan client, and now serves in an advisory capacity for ILS.

 
Michelle Guillermin Treasurer. B.S. Commerce, University of Virginia. Michelle is a senior executive with proven leadership experience in financial services, professional services and the US government. Michelle is currently Chief Financial Officer of One-Economy Corporation. She is also owner of Guillermin Group, a consulting firm that provides executive guidance to firms facing strategic and operational challenges. Was past Chief Operating Officer at Epic Worldwide, a luxury travel brand; Chief Financial Officer of Dutko Worldwide, a leading public policy firm; served as Chief Financial Officer and Acting Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a government corporation that supports domestic non-profits. She has extensive expertise in the development of growth strategies, launching new operations or products and the turnaround of organizations in high-profile and high-stakes environments. She has worked in multiple stages of the corporate life cycle, including private equity-backed companies, startup organizations, large and small scale mergers and acquisitions, and companies focusing on growth and expansion. She is active on the boards of a number of philanthropic organizations which address K-12, higher education and wildlife conservation.

Martina Musteen: Secretary. PhD, Associate Professor at the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU). She earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Management at the University of Kansas and holds an undergraduate degree in management from the European division of the University of Maryland in Heidelberg, Germany, and an MBA from CIMBA in Asolo, Italy. In SDSU, Dr. Musteen teaches international entrepreneurship and strategic management. Her research has appeared or is forthcoming in Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Research, the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management and Management International Review. She has presented in numerous academic conferences. She is the 2008 winner of the prestigious Olympus Emerging Educational Leader Award of the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance.

Diane Auer Jones: President & CEO of The Washington Campus, a non-profit, educational organization that provides instruction to graduate students, corporate executives, trade association members and non-profit organizations on the structure and function of government, the policy-making process, and effective tools for policy outreach and advocacy. She was Deputy to the Associate Director for Science in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy before serving as the Assistant Secretary of Education in the US Office of Education. She has served as program director at the National Science Foundation, and Princeton University's Director of the Office of Government Affairs. Was also acting staff director for the Research Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science. She began her career as a molecular biologist, biology professor, and small business owner. She began with 13 years in the laboratory, classroom, and the field, where she administered teacher professional development and middle school science enrichment programs, home schooling, and transitioned to a career in public policy.

Nancy Omaha Boy: PhD. After several campus deanships, finishing her doctorate and several books on excellence in schools and colleges, she served two colleges as Vice President of Academic Affairs. She served Director of Teaching Excellence at Rutgers University. For twelve years she taught courses on Native American Indians and worked with campus faculty to improve teaching, including the introduction of electronic teaching. She was the longest serving member of the Board and President of the International Alliance for Learning (1988-2004), teaching the world how to use accelerated learning to teach. She also edited the Journal for Accelerated Learning and Teaching and serves as a reviewer as well on the Journal of Excellence in College Teaching. Richard Young: Los Angeles, CA; Music producer, classical concert guitarist, composer, recording artist, poet-author. Credits include national commercials, film soundtracks, and numerous Artist recordings. He has written jazz reviews for Quest Records (a division of Warmer Brothers), liner notes for classical CD’s and is a published poet. Young has served as an Affiliate Artist for The Greater Columbus Arts Council. He is co-founder and president of Artist One Productions in Los Angeles, CA.
